Siena

This morning mom and I left for Siena. Getting to the train and then switching was actually pertty easy, but once we got to Siena I got us on the right bus,but going in the wrong direction so...we were on the bus for a long time. Once we got to the B&B we were both in a much better mood. We went to eat and I had lasagne and mom had risotto. We were planning on going to look around town, but we were really tired because neither of us got alot of sleep last night. So we went back to the room and took a 2 hour nap :) After we got up we went to Campo and looked around town and got lost and wandered. We saw the town getting ready for a festiaval of some sort.
We went to dinner and had the best meal. We started with some good Chianti rosso wine and buffalo mozzerialla with tomato. mom was shocked that I was eating tomato....so am I lol. After we had our main course. I had duck and she had a filet...both we delicious. After we had a chocolate cake and cappucini. Amazing meal :) We talked about everything...it was great to catch up :)
After we paid the bill we heard drums outside and got to see part of the parade that we saw them set up earlier today....then we headed back to the B&B
