Castel Sant'Angelo
Today I had class at 10 am. I ate breakfast with both Bea and Giampaolo, which rarely happens so that was nice. I got a panino, cappucino, and a crustata (a type of dessert....the specific one I had was on a pie like crust and had a raspberry filling). Then at 12:30 all of 612 met up and went to Castell st. Angelo.
The emperor Andreo built it after seeing a vision of an angel sheathing his sword (which is in a bronze statue at the top).
It was at one time used as a jail cell. It offers an amazing view of the city.
We had class there and each of us read a sentence about the place and translated it.
After we went to Termini to get out tickets to Matera for tomorrow :) I went home and regestered for classes next fall (I may not have classes on Friday) and did my homework. Ate dinner with the kids (we had about an hour conversation about candy that we dont have in the states)
